Emor begins with special laws of sanctity, propriety and purity for the priesthood. Leviticus 23 provides an overview of the biblical calendar, a listing of Yahโ€™s appointed times.

These appointments are Feast and Holy Days and they are covered in Chapter 23 of Leviticus in this weekโ€™s Torah portion. These days are: Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Shavuot, Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashanah), Yom Kippur and Sukkot.

During these times there is an opportunity for breakthrough, blessing, fellowship, remembering our history and fun. If you had an appointment with your favorite celebrity, a King or Queen, a date with your crush or spouse or even a doctorโ€™s appointment you probably wouldnโ€™t miss it or be late.

Adonai love us and wants to commune with us donโ€™t miss your appointment with him!
