๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฅ๐: Emor (ืืืืจ): The thirty-first reading from the Torah is called Emor (ืืืืจ), a title that comes from the first verse of the reading, which says, “Then Yah said to Moses, ‘Speak (emor) to the priests, the sons of Aaron …'” (Leviticus 21:1). Emor begins with special laws of sanctity, propriety and purity for the priesthood. Leviticus 23 provides an overview of the biblical calendar, a listing of Yahโs appointed times.

๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: Did you know that multiple times a year The Creator of The Universe has set appointments with YOU! These appointments are Feast and Holy Days and they are covered in Chapter 23 of Leviticus in this weekโs Torah portion. These days are: Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Shavuot, Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashanah), Yom Kippur and Sukkot.
During these times there is an opportunity for breakthrough, blessing, fellowship, remembering our history and fun. If you had an appointment with your favorite celebrity, a King or Queen, a date with your crush or spouse or even a doctorโs appointment you probably wouldnโt miss it or be late.
Adonai love us and wants to commune with us donโt miss your appointment with him!
